hi to everyone i need help about my bmw 320d 04/1999 let me explain what happend
changed the vp 44 and i had cdp+ inside of menus you have pump characteristic map and etc so i did that and i got and error of 42 dde-eeprom coding or configuration so what i did i bought mpps flashed a file got it online still no luck bought full inpa ediabas k+dcan winkpf diss-44-39-55 ista etc etc so diss hase a menu to do that program pump dageblaich or something like it but cant do it need to mesure something and ends with an error, so anyone any idea and pls dont use delphi cdp+ exept for error codes and key programing nothing else happend other stuff to me with it also i need the file for my dde as i have lost it

Did you manage to resolve your eeprom problem? What s the probleme on the car ?
well i didnt i still dont have any solution to it exept that to find an dde with ews to mount it to the car to program the key to ews and see what happends usually you have that problem when your vp44 is broken but mine its not my delphi cdp+ erased the eeprom i guess and now no communation betwen them when i take another car and i drag it to start it smokes alot after a while it starts but doesent stay idle so no solution yet

I got eeprom error dtc but the engine (ans so the vp44) has been changed.
Car works good the only problem I got is that between ~25/30 ° and 55/60° it doesn t start like it qhould. Like you it needs fews time ans when it start I ve white smoke. But it manages to keep idle without problems

well i dont have it here tonight and diss updated me with another software that aint good but still i will downloadit from dde via mpps tomorow and i will send it to you i asked for the right ori i wrote up the zusb look if you can find me them so i can flash it with mpps thanks

well tried to read the dde no luck dont know why anyway got a new dde with ews and key will mount it tomorrow and c what happends

well pinouts i dont know because i found in my winkpf the ori the last one but i dont know how to flash it in my dde on the car ^^ecu not found ^^ so far no progress didnt had time to check the new dde its damn cold here so on some other days will try and i will let you know just send me the pinouts schema thanks

for everyone for this problem you should open the vp44 edc to look if this chip its burned http://www.ebay.com/itm/121294124776?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 this is how you watch it open the edc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUXHxXUdB3U and how you remove the vp44 dont turn it dont touch it and mark the pump caouse there are no timing marks look for thee irlr chip ^^resistor^^ you name it and if its ok it needs programing but if its burned be carreful on repairing it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUq-d_HbGu0 its very fragile you mount it and no problem not like me who has erased the eeprom and no one dont ya use delphi cdp+ to program the eeprom cause it will erase the eeprom and you are done
1 check edc no programing nothing
2 if irlr its burned change it mount it and start the car nothing else but
if aint burned post the ori here someone will watch the eeprom soft and will give it to you dont do anything stupid like i did :D

Repeat NO PROGRAMING Needet when first appears the error 42 check up the edc of vp 44 dont do nothing else
I m gonna look for the pinout if I find them back cause I did it few months ago, anyway you should be able to read it by obd too

i was searching for this problem there was a guy in forum who had this error who erased the eeprom and he did a swap the car started just fine and was working good anyway i got the new dde with ews and key chip so i will keep my keys i will change only the chip inside and lets c what happends my guess is that it should start and work fine stay for updates thx
